Iosif Raykhelgauz’s recital took place in the Central House of Artists (ÖÄÐÈ). The Director presented his new book «Walking Off-road» to the public. The book tells the story of extreme expeditions to different parts of the globe. The guests also watched fragments from the documentaries «On the Other Side of Earth», «The Taste of the Off-road» and «Mayan Games in November». December 28 EVENING DEDICATED TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF MARIA MIRONOVA

On December 27 the Moscow Theatre «School of Modern Drama» in cooperation with the Central House of Actors and the «Kultura» TV Channel organized a soiree titled «I Do Not Want to Die» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Maria Mironova, an outstanding Russian actress.

Everyone’s Singing show took place at the School of Modern Drama Theatre on December 17. The organizers have not disappointed the spectators’ expectations: artists and bankers alike sang along. Yesterday Iosif Raykhelgauz, the Artistic Director of the School of Modern Drama theatre, met the public at the Bakhrushin Theatre Museum. Three versions of The Seagull play, currently on theatre’s stage, were presented: «Anton Chekhov. Seagull»; «Boris Akunin. Seagull» and «Seagull. Operetta».
24 November AWARD FOR STAR FEVER

On November 24, the «Moskovsky Komsomolets» (MK) newspaper awarded its Annual Theatre Prize. The play Star Fever received the MK award in the experiment category. The director, Iosif Raykhelgauz, got a trophy from the MK Chief Editor Pavel Gusev. As usual the ceremony concluded with the formal picture taking of all «MK» prizewinners of the year. 23 November «RUSSIAN WOE» OPENED «MYSTERIA-BUFF» FESTIVAL

On November 23, in Saint-Petersburg the International Theatre Festival Mysteria - Buff opened with the play Russian Woe. The festival’s motto was «Laughing is way more meaningful and deep that it is considered. Long live the comedy! (Gogol)». The performance style, described as «playing with comedy», has become a tagline for the entire festival.
